November 8, Guangzhou. BP Amoco (hereinafter referred to as "BP") and Aulton New Energy Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. ("Aulton") formally signed a cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture company.

Based on the horizontal layout of the swapping station service network and the vertical improvement of the ecological chain and industrial extension, the cooperation between the two sides is aimed to build a “global green battery swapping energy ecological network” as the main theme.

Regarding the horizontal layout and construction of the battery swapping station service network, BP has made a strategic investment in a subsidiary of Aultone New Energy, and the two parties have formed a joint venture of Guangzhou Aulton New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., took the lead in creating the cooperation template of city-level joint venture in Guangzhou. The two parties will actively explore the possibility of expanding the cooperation to other cities in China and overseas cooperation in the near future. Based in China and open to the world, and with the main purpose of cooperation, BP and Aulton are working together to build a global green battery swapping energy ecological community.

Regarding the vertical improvement of the ecological chain and industrial extension, the two parties will explore new business models around battery swapping, including energy replenishment, energy storage, battery bank, battery life cycle gradient utilization and other fields.

BP Amoco and Aulton establish joint venture

BP Amoco (bp) and Aulton held a joint venture cooperation agreement signing ceremony in Guangzhou on the afternoon of November 8.
